Croeso i lais disgyblion
At Coed Hirwaun Primary School we have 4 committees/councils where the pupils represent their views of the school: School Council, Eco Committee, Healthy Schools and Digital Leaders. The aim of these committees are to allow every child at the school to gain the experience of being part of a committee and to give them a voice in the decision making.
Our school Council and Committees are democratically elected at the start of term in September.
So far this year we have:
Elected the School Committee members
Attended Council/Committee meetings
Devised an Action Plan for 2023-2024
We have achieved the following awards:
4th Green Flag Eco Award
Phase 5 Healthy Schools Award
NACE ICT Quality Mark
Rights Respecting Schools Award Level 1
