What are School Councils?
School councils are democratically elected groups of children who represent their peers and enable pupils to become partners in their own education, making a positive contribution to the school environment and ethos.
What do they achieve?
School councils make a positive contribution to every aspect of the school community.
They: –
- Promote a sense of belonging for our pupils
- Develop confidence in our pupils
- Ensure pupils views are valued
- Support decision making within the school community
